A Serious Movie
A Serious Man
The Cohen brothers as a team or otherwise are phenomenal movie makers. They’ve done it again with this one – one that I’ll watch again to find tidbits – too much to chew on viewing only once as usual. Probably the best review was done here:
Roger Ebert’s review
Great choice of a rabbi to cast “Walowitz” from The Big Bang Theory. The entire cast is perfection.
I loved seeing the world of wall paneling, kitchen decor in avocado green, unattractive fabrics, and transistor radios. This was a true celebration of that era, that and the twisted way the Cohen bros. made this an anti-MAD MEN look and feel but with added humor.
